Hi...Always read everyones advice and hope you can help me. my girl gave birth with no problems Tues morning. Mums been very good and all is well, but ive just heard a bit of wheezing coming from bed. The pups just finished feeding so i picked up the smallest girl as she sort of choked/sneezed and milk came out of her nose. I noticed bit of wheezing earlier today but couldnt find sorce, now i know its her. Ive tried looking in her mouth at pallette, but she i so teeny its impossible. She has a very strong latch and seems to be feeding well, but worried milk might be going on lungs/or through pallette as she only does it while feeding. Shes asleep now and no wheezing. As i said ive only just found this problem so im not being neglegent, so wanted to get some advice.
Thanks :)

I'd ask the vet to check the pup to play safe. A cleft palate doesn't have to be big and obvious, it can also entail just a small hole in the palate.
