I have just been to PAH and had a look at this and bought 2x1kilo bags. Now firstly I need to know any of you that feed your dogs this do you add any vitamins etc to it?
Do you add Mixer to it?

Next I need to know how much I will need to feed Shady, it says large dog 30 nuggets a day. She weighs around 40kg and at the moment has a large tin of Chappie and one tray of Naturediet with mixer each day. I will start to mix it in slowly, but if it suits her and she goes on it full time will 30 nuggetts a day be about right for her? Not sure how many nuggets are in a bag to see if this will be too expensive to feed alone anyone any idea?

Then comes Milo who is full of food intolerances and who desperatly needs to put on weight. The only food I have ever found he can tolerate is Nature diet sensitive gold. As you know they have now discontinued this although i have about 20 packs of it left. The other naturediet flavours he cannot tolerate either.
I am going to start adding a nugget to each of his 4 meals a day to see if he is ok with it and to try and give him an extra boost. If he is ok on it, it says small dogs should have 15 nuggetts a day, which seems a lot if Shady only gets 30 and she weighs nearly 40 kg and he only weighs 6kg. What would you suggest for him?
Also again I am worried about him lacking in vitamins if fed only this, will he need a supplement, especailly as he has health problems and keeps losing weight.
I think they will definatly like it as they both went loopy over the smell of it when it was in the carrier bag when i come in and Milo told Shady to back off in no uncertain terms as it was all going to be his!

I started one of mine on these nuggets a few months ago.  He only has 7 for either breakfast or tea and has Arden grange for the other meal with one extra nugget (or small amount of nature diet). The guide on the bag states 15 for his size.
In the first bag I used there were 64 nuggets, so if you were to feed Shady 30 a day, one bag would last two days.  :-))

My dogs love these nuggets.  I don't feed entirely BARF, so sometimes they get them on their own, other times I mix about 4 each with Royal Canin dried food, and they love this too.  They particularly like the tripe ones.  Also, I sometimes microwave for 20 seconds to bring out the delicious smelling juices ...  Just go by their appetite.  They are quite 'airy' so I would feed mine about 12-13 nuggets each.
