I live in Bimingham, i am the owner of a Male Golden(yellow) Retriever Labrador. We want to know how to advertise him on the internet as a stud. He is 13months old, and mautre enough.

He is mature enough to have had his hips scored - what are the results and also has he passed his annual eye testing - you can advertise him anywhere but to be take seriously he needs either to be shown or be doing gundog work as well as health tested or even better all three

There are lots of nice Labradors around and you need to prove that yours is better than others to get the responsible bitch owners interested.

Never mind his maturity, has he had all the tests for health and has he been shown or worked in the field and proved himself worthy of being used at stud. If you wish to breed good puppies you will need excellent bitches and you will only get them if your dog is also excellent. Have you studied the breed lines so you know which bitches to accept and which to refuse as, of course, you will be equally responsible for the puppies produced, both morally and in law. If the answer is yes then you should not need to advertise. Ja:)kie
