Hi all.. I have an 8 month old Schipperkee and she weighs 16 pound's, I am a bit worried that she is overweight. Obviously, due to her very thick coat it is a bit hard to tell. Please can someone advise me of a suitable weight for her.

Can you get in touch with the breeder? I am sure he or she should be willing to let you know what a good weight is at her age

I just looked in a dog encyclopoedia and it says between 5.5kg - 7.5kg or 12lb -16lb. There are books available specificto most breeds now(I bought lots of them before having my afghan). I think it would be helpful for you to invest in one- it will give advice on size, weight, character, health etc..
