What amazing people these Paralympians are to overcome their disabilites with such strength and determination!  Watching them makes me feel so humble!

Danny Crates, who carried the flag for the British Paralympians, has had to pull out because of injury.    He played rugby with my son before he lost his arm, 16 years ago, and is a lovely chap.

He is also the proud owner of a 3-legged greyhound!
