I have Facebook,My Space and Bebo I also have Netlog and hi5 but i hardly ever go on them

Facebook and My Space are my favs if anyone wants to add me, feel free just leave me a message saying you came via CD's

i spend to much time on CD so i dare not try facebook as i wouldnt get anything done

Calmstorm, Facebook is just another social networking site.  You add as much or as little information about yourself as you like.  Lots of people like social networking, lots of people don't.

I used to be obsessed with bebo and facebook, now i go on it around once a week, cant really be bothered with it, get too many applications that i dont want and takes me too long trying to get rid lol
Prefer facebook to bebo as not as many youngsters on it, however do prefer bebo to facebook as you dont get as many stupid applications from other people! ha ha

You can set your profile to private and you don't have to accept anyone you don't want to.

There are people I dont want them to find me, and even if they do, you can always ignore the request for friendship when it comes to you.  Then they will never see your profile.

Its loads of fun, with lots of applications, and you can add photos, and take all kinds of cool quizzes. 

It can be addicting (but not as addicting as CD-although thats where i am off to next)!!!

Luckily no-ones bothered finding me :)  Most of us have put our usernames on now under the discussion bit!

Had a complete panic attack as my profile created and had a list of 27 people wanting to be a friend.... I thought "OMG!! they can *see* me!!??? already!!??" Then realised... Must be people who have just mailed everyone in their e-mail add book!! :-D

Isnt it funny how you *imagine* what people look like and the reality is totally different!! (Better of course Better! ;) )

My rule of thumb is if you wouldnt speak to people if you saw them out then dont add them on face book. Ive regected many friend requests using my rule!!

I breifly went on yesterday but will try and log onto tonight to add all you lovely people to my friends list.  :-)

We'll get used to the new FB I'm sure at some point, takes me a while to adjust to change but I will.  I'm up for many new friends on facebook and even if I don't know you and you're just friends from CD or any other forum I'm a member of,  you're all friends to me x  Friends with a few already, I'm lesley with the unusual surname!
