Topic Dog Boards / General / Recomend a good Kennel disinfectant/odour neutraliser?
- By HuskyGal Date 11.09.08 18:38 UTC
Hi All,

On the move soon, mananged to find a great property which is already Siberian 'Harry Houdini' Husky proof :-D
No mean feat! Also it has a huge run (whoop!) But... (theres always a but) Its wooden decked, so Im figuring thats gonna get whiffy in the Summer months (will when we have a summer!) and anyway regardless we all know what boys wee is like :(

Sooooo.. in anticipation, Can anyone recommend a good Kennel cleaner/ disinfectant with odour neutraliser that I can buy in bulk or in  gallon tubs (Its a big surface area)

Thanks!

Used the 'odour eliminator concentrate' off the site Teri linked, Rott bitch (RIP) always peed just outside the back door and it drained off the slabs into a corner of a border also just outside the back door . Didn't half stink!!! I made it up about double strength first time and then normal strength and it worked fine.

Cats in households tend to get more respect than those outside - those outside are fair game (Well they are in Mia & Curtis' book!).

Pencil you in for one curly & one variant - colours & coat length, not bothered?

which is the bubble gum disinfectant/odour neutraliser???

I want to try some!!   using Zoflora citrus at the moment which works fairly well and smells fresh but never completely gets rid of wee smell.

This is the bubblegum one..

The dilution required is really minimal.. I used to buy the 5litre bottle.. but last December bought the 20ltr... works out at 5lts free... and I still have just under half left... I use it to slush down the run and patio etc... up the wooden fence where the boys widdle.. and use a spray for indoors.. spray on curtains and furniture as you would if you used febreeze.. It doesnt mask smells or mix with them.. it really does neutralize.. with 10 dogs.. It works for me... and its safe for dogs to walk on immediately.. no need to wait until dry...
