Has anyone used the snuggle pads for whelping? My friend uses one for her rabbits in the winter that live in garden, but i'm sure i have heard somewhere before that they have been used for whelping. Thanks Lois  :-)

I used one.  Found it excellent, BUT they are quite small and fortunately my girl only had 2 pups so it worked great for us.

l have use them for 5 litter i think their better than elc heat pads or heat lamp.

i put the heat pad in a hot water bootle cover last cover  was shaun the sheep the puppies from day two found the heat nestlle into the cover.

that reminds me to go a buy two have lost one

but i use them on my back and knee when they are playing up
plus in my bed in the winter they are still warm in the morning,

I am going to get a couple, one for us to warm the bed on cold evenings like tonight, and one for the dogs then when the time comes i can always use them both for the puppies. I have seen them for £20 is this about right? Do they come in a range of sizes? I have only seen small'ish round ones! Lois

Briedog, did you use a lamp aswell or just the snuggle pad for your litter(s)

Ive used them on 4 litters for taking back and forth to vets.  I do use heat lamps but find the snuggle pads an extra bonus.  They last for years too and come in useful for other things.
