I'm looking for a puppy food for a small breed that will add weight, wet or dry.

I would be careful of adding too much weight to a puppy, they are better off slightly under than over as it will effect their bones if they are too heavy. A good dry food I have found for putting body on is royal canin.
I'm wanting to add abit of weight on as she is half the size she should be at this age, also a fussy eater! :-) She is on hills at the moment but not seeing much gain, she is being weighed evey 10 days

AG premium seems to meet my dogs' approval on taste and is geared towards bodying up dogs and improving their coats.

I have a girl who isn't quite as covered as she should be. I feed her Royal Canin Sensible Mini, it's really good and smells nice too. I don't just feed that I also feed her satin balls and forthglade or nature diet.

Have you tried tripe? We use the frozen blocks. :-)
Hi Blossom, What are Satin balls??
Have given tripe/beef mix which is loves mixed in with her kibble but she will only eat the tripe mix and leave the kibble. :-)

My boy is really fussy. We went through so many brands of complete food.
In the end i decided to take the plunge with the raw food diet.
He still has his off days but to be honest he has bulked out and looks like what he should do at his age and also gained the weight which he never had before.
It may be worth a try. I know when you keep changing foods for a fussy eater you are creating a rod for your own back. I was worried as for a growing pup i couldn't get him to eat and it worried me a lot. I wish i went onto it a long time ago now i can see the rewards its giving my dog. His coat looks so much better and his behaviour has greatly improved.

I will PM you :)
Thanks for the PM Blossom.

I would recommend Arden Grange every time. They have a very nice and very knowledgeable nutritionist to offer advice. I have a pup who is on the large breed puppy junior and he loves it and is doing really well on it.
tripe is great for poor doers ...If they pick out the kibble either thaw the tripe in a container on top of some biscuit or just before serving add a cup of warm water to bring out the taste of the biscuit....
