I've had a few things from Virgin Vie cosmetics both bought by myself & as gifts & have found them to be really good!  The nail polishes are very good quality & seem to last for ages on your nails! HTH x

I love Virgin Vie products, especially the eyeshadows.
The only  2 slight critisisms I have and it applys to all cosmetic ranges in some way I suppose,is that you find an absolutely brilliant colour in a pallette, but if that pallette is limited edition ,say for Xmas, you cant replace the colours you liked best once you have used it up from the pallette.

Also they are very good at discontinuing stuff each year so again you find a product you like and in a flash its gone.

Other than that though the products themselves are excellent quality for reasonable prices and the Xmas stuff does make excellent  pressies :)
The colour range in the individual make up products is very good too, and it lasts well too when youre wearing it.

Love it, especially the jewellery.  Haven't heard of anyone doing parties round here though, more's the pity.

Hi Tracey,

I worked as a VV consultant for a couple of years, so if you've got any questions feel free to give me a shout.

I found the cosmetic products to be of a good quality, but wasn't impressed with the jewellery, I had a lot of returns due to breakages & tarnishing, and the jewellery is pricey for costume jewellery. I left Virgin to set up my own jewellery company in the end!! :-)

There is a lot of support available if you have a good manager, mine was great and ran regular workshops etc. One thing that is worth doing is their course in wedding make up, I did very well out of doing weddings as you can charge for your time, unlike at a party.

Good luck with it :-)

I have just started doing body shop at home parties to try and get some extra pennies.  I found virgin vie to be quite expensive for what it is particularly in these lean times.

Hi Tracey

My friend is a Virgin Vie consultant and I recently bought some products which I have found to be excellent, especially the honey bath bubbles - gorgeous!! My only gripe being the stingy old thing that I am is that I found it a wee bit expensive! But very good products.

Thanks for your comments. If anyone wants a brochure give me a bell and I can pop one in the post. Im finding that people do think its quite expensive but then they try the products and they agree that you get what you pay for so hopefully I can change people's attitudes. Ive got my next party on Tuesday!! Love doing the parties!! I think Im doing quite well at the minute to say ive only been doing it 2 weeks but I need to expand my customer base!

A colleague of is also a Virgin Vie consultant in her spare time.  I was chatting to her about it yesterday and it is obvious how much she enjoys it :-)  She says she has made lots of friends in other consultants in her 'branch' and people she has met at parties and kept intouch with.  She says she is happy with what she earns but admits that a lot of it goes straight back to Virgin Vie as she buys loads of the products for herself.

Good luck with it :-)

cheekchow. i agree with you.
my sister has had a few partys for various things over the last few months and i was quite shocked at the prices of virgin vie's stuff.
in particular the bubble baths etc.
up to 11.00 pounds for a bottle of bubble bath!!!!!!!!!
Although she has brought quite a few xmas gifts with her share of the comission.

For just over £11 you could have a bottle of clarins bubble bath and I for one would rather have the clarins.  It is nice but not of superior quality to demand those prices.
