In my litter one of my 6 week olds has developed a small bump above his nose... its like a little tiny mole.. you can only tell its there when you feel it but the thing is he is going to someone very interested in showing and was wondering whether this is an issue? Obvously if it stays that size and his muzzle gets bigger it will be basically invisible and intracable.. however if it grows a bit im worried whether a judge will frown upon it..

its a shame i cant post a picture on here but i hope i have been discriptive enough

Judges would not normally be interested in small imperfections and it would only count should, and I have never know it, the judge was faced with 2 dogs of identical merit.

I would point it out to your vet when the pup is checked before going to it's new home but I imagine it is something that will disappear anyway.

EDIT to say I have answered this under false pretences, I neither show, own or judge Labs, sorry.

I don't own/show/breed Labs either, but could it just be a lump caused by a bite from a sibling? They can/do play rough, and I'm sure that there have been bumps and scratches before though not necessarily seen on the nose :-)
