My dog who was fine thisw morning is looking sorry for her self and has a very snotty nose.

not sure if its conacted but she drank some water from a smelly duck pond yesterday,

normally i would head to my vets but we are away on hoilday at the moments any advice accepted

You can see a vet where you are on holiday.  You do not have to be registered with them.  This has happened to us on more than one occasion over the years.

Just give enquiries a quick ring and ask for a vet in the area and get him seen too.
Only thing I can think is he has come into contact with a lot of bacteria from the pond but unlikely to cause snotty nose (usually just the runs) so think the vet should have a quick look.

There's a type of algae that is really poisonous to dogs so to play safe I'd defintely see a vet.

took bossom to the vets, they say its not contected to pond water, she has a upper respiratory tract infection,
she was given a antibotic injuection and tablets to start tomorrow, also a powder to put in her food to break
down the mucus

thanks to all who gave advice was well impressed with the vets i called  they called my vets to get medical history
etc and have spoke to my vets again so they know what traetment blossom has recieved.

i will be sending a thankyou card to them
