Topic Dog Boards / Health / Giving booster & kennel cough vaccine together

Sorry if it's a daft question but does it make any difference healthwise if booster & kk vaccine are given at the same time? Dogs need both this month wondering whether to do on different days or just at the one visit?

I believe each manufacturer tries to make sure that their own products can be given together; which manufacturer's products does your vet use?

If the Intrac KC vax is given, the manufacturer states:
"No information is available on the safety and efficacy of the concurrent use of this vaccine with any other. It is therefore recommended that no other vaccines should be administered within 14 days before or after vaccination with this product."

Not sure about the kennel cough because it's the first time but the other boosters are Nobivac (intervet).
Just phoned the vets & was told they usually do the two together & it works out cheaper. Receptionist didn't seem to see a problem. What do you think?

I'd do them seperately, cheaper is not always safer!

I had my cocker & border both done for both at one time I did not think it was a problem if my vet said it was ok!

The past 2 years Misty has had both her boosters and kennel cough done at the same time, the vet just automatically did it both times (did ask for her to have the kennel one the first time and it was never questioned).

My dog has his booster and KC done at the same time, the vet was the one who mentioned it and suggested that we get them all done at the same time.
I would of thought that if there was any issue then he would of said to wait.
