Just browsing through the Manchester Champ Show scheldule for next January, and noticed if you enter on line via Higham Press then you will receive your passes/removal passes/vouchers on line and will need to print them off yourself.Saves postage.

What a great idea, but not so good if your internet goes down as you need to print them off!!!!
Wonder if they will stop the 1.00 extra they change for Admin?
LOL

Hmm, my printer isn't working so I'd be very unhappy about doing it that way if it becomes the way they do all shows :-( I can't afford to replace it just now, my car failed its MOT this week.

Maybe I'm being a bit cynical, but wouldn't that make it easy to print off a few more entry tickets?

and more worryingly what is to stop someone printing off extra exit passes and taking out dogs that inf act don't belong to them

Yuo access your owwn account on dogbiz then go to historical entrys. So you will ned a pass word.
However printers can be tempermental. My children have often left thier homework to the last minute only to discover the printer doesn't work.

I have a crap printer and rarely print anything surely they should not expect us all to have a printer?

I try to print as little as possible due to the cost of ink cartridges!

So say someone else in yoru breed prints of 2 exit passes from their own account and then removes not only their own dog but another as well - bear in mind at stafford you hand your exit pass to the guy on the gate they will just count passes and dogs, they won't look at names etc.......... i doubt you'd even have to have the same type of dog as on the pass!

no sorry, really don't like the idea from a safety point of view

I haven't looked but wonder if there's an option in case you are unable to print out.

I agree, it is a possible security issue, but I have been shocked that at a few shows we have been to (SWKA, Welsh KC & Paignton) you have handed entry and exit passes to someone whilst still in the car.  They really didn't check that hard that I did only have one (ie my own) dog in the car.  She's big so is easy to spot but I could easily have had a small dog in the boot or foot wells etc.

Thats why I always keep an eye on my dogs and friends dogs, they are never left.  We have a small breed and you can fit 2-3 dogs in a fabric travel crate if you wanted too and because they are fabric you cant see in them easily.  Always think the removal order are a waste of time.  And only seem to work at crufts as you need them o get out of the door.

I do like the idea of not having to wait for them to come through the post and printing off yourself but they should put an option to have them sent to you if you want
