Royal Canin Baby Dog Maxi is great for sensitive tums. If you have a look, there is currently a thread running with quite a few people's views on the food.

Our bernese get fed on raw mince, mixer biscuit, raw eggs and fish oil capsules and they get raw meaty bones about once a week.  They have no dodgy stomachs no bad breath and at 11 years old and 9 years old they are doing pretty well for bernese.  Bernese on the whole are greedy dogs and will eat as much as you give them so you have to use common sense and look and feel your dog to see if you think its overweight.  It doesn't matter what the feeding guide on the dog food says - if your dog is overweight then you are feeding him too much regardless of what is the recommended amount so feed less.  With regards to sensitive tummies, my old poodle had colitis when she was young but within a month or two of being fed the same diet as the bernese it totally cleared up and I am convinced if I put her back on any complete food she would be showing signs of an upset tummy and dodgy bowels within a couple of weeks.  I personally don't think complete foods are good for dogs, many will disagree but our dogs have never been so healthy since taken off complete and our vets bills are virtually non existant.

I really think its the best way to feed dogs but everyone has their own ideas.  Feeding raw can sometimes seem very complicated and confusing but we just do the simple version described in my previous post and as you say our dogs ages say it all and also the fact that we have 4 dogs (2 bernese, 2 poodles) and virtually no vets bills.  You just need to find a good mixer biscuit, we use Foldhill Terrier biscuit. It also works out much  more economical than complete food.  If we have a puppy we do add a suppliment like Stress powder or SA37 tablets until they are about a year old and likewise my younger poodle has been mated  so she is now on Stress powder mixed into her dinner.  It works for our dogs and and the vet certainly won't be able to retire on our contributions to his pension fund!!! :-D

My dogs including the 3 Bernese have a diet of raw and Orijen (large breed puupy for the youngster). This looks expensive but works out OK as they don't need to be fed as much dried food.

Just introduce gradually.

The simple version that fifi does is similar to mine and quite easy. I think if you can follow your little one you will see a big difference.
