- By Honeybee [gb] Date 22.08.08 21:53 UTC
Right time to spread some positive vibes with things that make you feel happy.
I'll begin with a few of my own -
When the sun comes out after it has rained
A nice cup of tea (and a biscuit)
People who smile and say good morning
A brisk walk on my own with the dogs
Visiting my Grandma (love the spring in my step when I get near her)
A cuddle with the kids
Listening to a favourite piece of music

Okay I could go on but it would be even better to hear other peoples' happy thoughts as well!

Sitting in the sun in my garden watching my dogs playing together on the grass

My wire  viz giving me a "wire cuddle" as only wires can

being with people i care about

watching Liverpool FC playing football

All these things make me happy

Happy things....

Walking down a deserted lane with the dogs running ahead of me except for Winston who can't possibly leave Mummys side so has to walk right next to me!!

Riding out on a beautiful frosty morning with the sun shining and you feel like you're the only one in the world because everyone else is still in bed!

My daughter.

Winning a best puppy with a 6 month old puppy first time out LOL!!

Cuddles off all the pooches.

Setting off on a cross country course feeling like you and horse are a total team.

Laying in a boiling hot bath reading a good book with no interruptions!(doesn't hapen very often).

Happy things:

Some one saying " You should be proud of your kids"
Waking up on a Saturday morning and curling back up in the quilt, no work today guys,
Being woken up by a doggie stare and the tail wag when they see you open your eyes.
Sunshine after a shower
A rainbow
My friends

Knowing that after 30 years I am still my OH number One.
After 30 years my OH still be my number One.
Sitting around a barbie with my kids and their friends listening to them share their memories and knowing I help make them so happy.
Rain on the roof of the car AFTER a day at the beach.

Just a few, But most of all having more things to make me happy than things to make me sad.
- By ali-t [gb] Date 23.08.08 13:40 UTC
some of the things that make me happy are:

walking my dog on the beach first thing in the morning when no-one is around.  xmas morning is my special fav for this
cosying up with my poochy, a trashy celeb mag or sunday papers and a bar of chocolate
walking in the countryside/woods with my dog when no-one is around - a bit of a pattern emerging here
chilling out in the sunshine before the wasp season kicks in
catching up with friends over a bottle of vino and some good food
singing in the car
spending a day reading a book start to finish
puppy breath - aaawww!

Hmmmm, I could turn into a hermit ;)  My favourite things are generally solitary and the things that bug me involve other people....

>Riding out on a beautiful frosty morning with the sun shining and you feel like you're the only one in the world because everyone else is still in bed!<

That is something I miss so much - there's nothing like that feeling and seeing the horses breath in the cold air.

Some of my happy things are

Sunsets on a clear day
Having a lark about in the garden with the dog
My cat's feet (he has lovely squishable cuddly feet)
A nice view from the top of a hill
Me and the OH laughing at something until we both have tummy ache and can't stop crying :-D
My mum & dad
The smell of freshly groomed horses
Finding a great bargain in the shops (best to date: A £160 Planet suit for £10 in a local charity shop - still with the tags on)

I went to Port Solent Sunday and watched the boats come in. The lock was operating and two adult swans entered the lock, waited until the big yachts came in (6 of them) and all the owners were smiling watching the swans. The lock gates opened the swans went first and all these big boats went at swan pace up the marine. Priceless and a wounderful moment.

Happiness is:

Getting home from work - on time - to extremely happy dogs and (hopefully) husband
A good cup of coffee followed by a nice choccy
Getting a seat on the train/tube
Reading positive press articles on dogs
Sleeping, contented dogs
the velvety feel of the back of dogs ears
bright crisp sunny mornings
Meeting an old friend that you haven't seen in years
Lying in bed and listening to the rain in the knowledge that you do not have to go to work
Snuggles following the above
A good meal
Doing a good deed

Gosh so many things to make you happy. :D
- By newf3 [gb] Date 27.08.08 15:58 UTC
