Has anyone any advice on how to get rid of the smell of fox poo/any other disgusting smelling thing my dog likes to roll in? I groom him every day and he is clipped every 2-3 months so his coat is kept fairly short. He usually finds something to roll in every day so he permanently smells! I have been told bicarbonate of soda is good but I am worried it may irritate his skin.

Hi Nicki
Tomato ketchup is what you needs for fox smell! Dilute a good dollop in a jugful of warm water and pour all over, avoiding ears, eyes etc, and massaging into any particularly bad bits. Leave for 5 minutes, rinse, then shampoo with your usual shampoo, rinsing well. As if by magic the smell's all gone! I always have a bottle in the grooming parlour.

Thanks for the advice, will try it next time we have a bath. However this idea is not so practical for every day, any other ideas for every day use?
