I have Norton 360 on my computer and it's due to expire in a couple of weeks. I like the service and want to carry on with it, but can't find out how much it is to renew online. Or is it better to buy a new disc. Does anyone know? Thanks. :-) :-) :-) ;-)

It's £54.99 to renew (!!!) so if you're running version 1.0, you might as well buy the new 2.0 -that's what I did. :) Was much the same price! (Just checked and PC World charges £54.99 if ordered online, £59.99 if bought in the shop.)

Or you can renew via the programme. Just start Norton, and click on Account, and there it is.

The good point about 360 of course is that it is a license for 3 users to install it on different computers so you can get together with someone and share the cost -again that's what I do.

Be careful with Ebay.  My partner bought a very genuine-looking version of Norton Anti-Virus a couple of years ago from Ebay only to be contacted by Norton a few months later telling him that he had bought a fake (or illegal copy - can't remember which).  It was impossible to tell that it was not the real thing.  I'd be v. suspicious of that price...
