Has anyone used this before.

My new pup came home on this but I haven't used it before.
Any thoughts.

Hi - My golden retriever was reared on this and we were very pleased with the result. Her breeder was so impressed, that she reared her last litter on it and the pups who are now 5 months are all looking great.

Great food, it just got too expensive for us with 9 dogs to feed, all looked great on it

I use this on my pups - have been extremely pleased with the results.  Pups do really well on it - no upset tums at all and they have all been lovely chunky puppies.  As long as you can afford it - stay with it!

Thanks everyone.

I'll stick with it then. I have to say that my boy is looking really great on it. I just need to see if i can source it locally now.

I use this on my in whelp bitches, during lactation and then wean the pups on to it. They have all done very well on it. Never any tummy upsets, always shiny coats and good even growth. Lot of RRs are on it here. Can warmly recomend it.

I've just found a local supplier of this and a 15kg bag is less than £40.
That's much cheeper than i've just paid and I can pick it up so no delivery costs.

My pup was raised on it and loved it at the breeders, but took a dislike to it once at mine.. typical.
My friends GSD was raised on it and they have continued with the brand and they are very happy with the way their boy is growing up.

We don't use the maxi, but all of our nine dogs (big dogs and small ones) are fed on Royal Canin, we bottle fed our new puppy (she was a singleton and Mum didn't have any milk) on the Royal Canin milk, then she went on to the starter, then junior, she's now five months old and her coat and skin are fantastic.  All of the other dogs have beautiful shiny coats and are just bouncing with health.  If your new puppy came home from his breeder with it then I would stick to it.  We're expecting one of the girls to come in season shortly and we're going to try the RC HT42d from the first day of season.  Royal Canin is brilliant food and what's best is that the dogs like it too!
