My dobe seems to moult quite alot does anyone else find this with theirs?  When you stroke him there are loads of hairs - he is 4 and it has always been the same.

Yes, I find that they do.  My aunts entire kennel, full of Dobe hair!!!!!

Yes they tend to moult all year round, and bitches especially after their season like most breeds.  I use a hound grove on mine, rubber one side and velvet the other, removes all the dead hair.  The hairs are like pine needles though and they feel like a splinter if one gets caught in your foot !!!!!

Small price to pay though for my beautiful breed :-)

Totally agree - I think I will start brushing him every day again.  I usually just wipe him over with a damp towel, but probably brushing will be better.

We use gamekeepers mix from dorwest herbs or sa37 seewood supplemnt with salmon oil added this helps greatly. Use a furminator or glove to help coat to come out..
