To All,
I joined a few weeks ago, and have enjoyed learning from the site. I have however noticed a certain tendency to rant (re. the entire conversation on "horrible" people at shows). Each to their own i suppose, but to me as a new person, its all very intimidating! Still the easy answer is ignore the rants and listen to the good advice! It's easily done! Yes, it would be helpful to seperate the "debate" from the content directly relating to the original question, great idea! Much better for the old blood pressure!....Hope I dont get any angry replies....oops, I'm getting paranoid now....

My only criticism would be that sometime threads do tend to lose their way with a lot of too and fro banter that sometimes seems to have no relevance to the original post!! I know to an extent that's what chat is for, but sometimes it seems the original point gets completely ignored so the poor poster doesn't get any help.

For what it's worth, I think Denise's suggestion is a pretty good one!
