my chocolate lab is 2 years old she had a season in january and another in june which was a little early. today I have found her bleeding again and my male has been sniffing around her for the last few days but I dismissed it as I knew she was not due in season till december is this right or do I need to take her to the vets to make sure she is ok have put the male away from her now just to be on the safe side but its only 10 weeks ago from the start of her last season seems strange all her other seasons have been on time

She might have had a 'split season', with the first 'season' being false and this being the 'real' one. If so, you must keep her well away from your dog.

Alternatively she could have an infection, so a vet visit would be wise.

Some bitches can have seasons as little as four months apart but this is not normal.
I think you should get her checked out to be on the safe side as she was having normal seasons up till this point
