Topic Dog Boards / General / Kennels??

Hi guys

Does anyone know where you can buy kennels to put in dog runs, ie the ones with the human big door on the left and the dog flap to the right? (not sure if I make sense)?

Try this link  http://www.uk-kennels.co.uk/?gclid=CM_z-ZyBm5UCFQ6S1Qodtl0AfQ
Are they the type you mean??

Thanks Malibu

There similar, the bit I need is the "house" bit with the human door on the front with the dog flap to the right hand side of it (if that makes sense) and ideally plastic or some other washable material?

I dont really wana spend too much as its only when I visit them or go away on holiday (max 7 days) that they would be staying in them.  Maybe I could find a cheaper version or second hand

They are really lovely but yes do tend to be pricey. Think you can maybe get cheaper ones on ebay but probably won't be as good quality.

I've worked with fibreglass kennels, (these pictures immediately reminded me with the metal trims) a similar non-porous material, and they were running with condensation in the morning in the winter and were like ovens in the summer.  I would only consider block built or wooden kennels.  A tongued and grooved shed with insulation and electrics can be a reasonable option if you have good local tradesmen?

has anyone found a website with designs.  My OH has suggested building a kennel, as originally there was a brick shed in the garden which still shows on the house deeds so we woudl like to rebuild it ; as a kennel.
