perhaps a basket muzzle for a while-until she forgets about it!!-it might be stress-!, --shes had so much to do for so long, and now its all stopped :(

I have a Golden Retriver 14 monthes old she keeps chewing the carpet in the same place i keep repairing it and she knows shes doing wrong.what can I do please?

Where is the bit of carpet? Is it by a door? Has it had something spilled on it? Try some bitter apple sprayed on the spot and give her something she can chew - at 14 months she needs to chew. Try the suggested things in the above post and just make sure she's supervised at all times.

Give her something she can chew? A great big raw meaty bone? Sterilised bone? She obviosuly has the desire - shame to muzzle her and prevent her from doing so altogether. I think that would simply bring you secondary problems.
