History has been made today(I think)The Obedience bitch CC has been won by John Price & Thirtleby Good Looking OW(AKA Ava) there has been a Dobermann that won the ticket(& Crufts Championship)but I think Ava is the first Rottweiler to do so.

A thoroughly deserved win as she is a stunning worker & John is a very nice man

Yep they were in the Northern Inter Regional Team & did about 30 seconds of heelwork

Great news, I'll have to tell my rottie owning friend. She does obedience work with her dog and he's great at it. Her rottie girl passed her PAT assessment and has started tracking. Versatile aren't they :)

Wow, well done to them! As someone who works a Cavalier, I'm always rooting for the minority breeds!! :-)

The trainer in Daisy's bronze class has a Rottie, and she sees potential in Daisy. On the wait (walk 10 paces and call the dog to come), they have to start changing the number of paces as apparently Rotties can count, and instead of waiting for the come command, they count to 10 and follow!

I thought only GSDs were quite intelligent cos when our trainer says Shepherd to sit he has to spell out the word or she does it before the command lol noe that she,s learnt the spelling we can,t spell out the down or the sit anymore we are having to number commands now, new class members find it hilarious.
Also if I say to my hubby theres a p u s s y thing in the garden she runs to the window to see it.
Oh I wish I was as clever as my dog life would have turned out so differently.
