Is it possible for a bitch to still bleed even if she has been spayed?  Bronwyn was spayed just over 4 years ago now, but last night we noticed there was difinately some bleeding coming from her.  Ellis is also taking interest in her, so can she still show signs of being in season or is there something else going on that should be investigated?

Many thanks in advance for your help and advice.

From some posters it would seem that vets are not always removing the uterus these days when speying, simply taking the ovaries instead, so I suppose there could be an infection there too or perhaps just in the vagina.

My dogs tend to be more interested in each other if they have any type of infection at all.
Ie Ebba if very interested in Beano if Beanos ears are playing up and infected. So I would deffinatly get her to the vets to give her a check over :)
