Topic Other Boards / Foo / How smart is your right foot????
- By Crespin Date 11.08.08 19:17 UTC
This is amazing!

This will boggle your mind, and you will do everything in your power to try and outsmart your foot, but you cant!

1) without anyone watching (as they will think you are a nutter!) raise your right foot off the ground, and make clockwise circles.

2) take your index finger on your RIGHT hand, and draw the number 6 in the air.

Your foot will change directions.

I told you so, and there is nothing you can do about it.  Its pre-programmed into your brain.

>>>>I tried and tried, but I couldnt Not make my foot change directions.  I guess I looked silly.

It's because your brains thinking of doing the circle so your foot goes the same way.  Tried going anti-clockwise with my left foot and drawing the letter P with the left index finger and the same things happens/

Quite superb & totally hilarious. How could I have possibly reached my grand old age without realising that I could not do this ?

How many accountants does it take to prove this theory???

THREE.... and a good ten minutes LOL

Thats it I knew I was wired wrong as I can do it no problem.
But I have always been good at the random rub your tummy and pat your head

I even tried the other foot with the letter P.  My foot suttered the first time and then I could do it.

But got the OH to have a go and he can't.  LOL

Going to try that one on my friends :-D

Malibu do you play piano? The only other person I know who can do these exercises is a pianist. She can carry out all kinds of feats of dexterity!

Yes I am, have played for years now, since I was little.

this is amazing, spent a fortune in phone calls telling everyone, my party piece used to be making a chicken from a flannel!!!

It depends how you draw the number 6. If you go from the top of the 6 and follow the loop round to the centre it's a no no but if you draw the 6 starting from the centre then it's easy! :-P
- By tessisbest [gb] Date 12.08.08 13:03 UTC
oh yes just tried it,, might keep that a secret though just to say i can do it.
- By Crespin Date 12.08.08 13:06 UTC
I can do it that way as well.  lol

Isnt it amazing, though????  lol.  I did try and try, and I couldnt do it (until zarah posted).  Thought it would give some laughs and such, and I am glad it did!

I did it no trouble, guess I draw my No. 6 the same as above
