Nicole Cooke has just won GB's first Gold Medal in the road race (Cycling)  Well done Nicole (who, incidentally, is a Welsh girl from my home town!!!) let us hope that this is the first medal of many!!  :)

Im currently cheering on young Billy Joe Saunders, Boxing isnt my sport but he gave such an inspiring and articulate interview about his background as a traveller, I really hope he continues to fight his way out of the stereotype :)  He's winning by a mile at the mo against a Turkish Bronze Olympian.
