Has anyone any suggestions as to a good probiotic for 10 week old puppies? They have all been wormed every 2 weeks but stools have become loose no sickness and they are all well and eating.

I would use Live natural yogurt
Tried this and seemed to make them worse??!!!!

I have heard that for some dogs dairy can be a problem, how about looking in somewhere like holland and Barrett I know you can get probiotics in powder form as I had some from a homeopath. That might be better on their tummies
Thanks very much for the info everyone. The vets given my pups stormogyl, not sure if itll upset them more but worth a go. Tigger2 this looks good itll be ok with antibiotics wont it?
Pro-kolin is a complementary feedstuff so should be fine :) I find it works a treat to get their guts working normally.
Stormogyl seems a strange choice, we normally prescribe that after dental work, if the animal has a bad case of gingivitis...but vets all have their funny little ways ;)
Hope your pups are feeling better soon :)
Edited to say, is theis the first time they've been to the vets with this problem? Again, seems odd to have prescribed antibiotics at all, as they will kill ALL the gut bacteria, not replace it and kick start the function as Prokolin or the like will do.
was it cows or goats natural yoghurt you tried??
I stick to goats if I need to give mine any yoghurt, but I'm talkin about adults, never tried it with the pups??
hope they are ok :)
cows maybe try the goats instead ive got some protexin ordered but ill get some yoghurt as well they all seem a bit better this morning after 1 antib?!!
