Hi,
Well a friend went on Sunday after seeing an advert in the local paper to look at a two year old Rottie "excellent pedigree, KC RED." She wanted one for training to go to trials,
She owns  her own Doggy parlour, So of she goes gets to a villa house, they are waiting for her. The house was a little dirty saying it lightly. It was dead silent. No sight of any dogs. She said how many dogs have you got, 24 was the reply. Were are they all. As the cupboard under the stairs opened there was a pen with westies in and puppies. as they entered the kitchen her husband opened the bathroom door, 2 pit bulls full pitbulls came out the bitches breasts hanging on the floor. There were sheds down the bottom of the garden with no windows in, she asked what other breeds they had "Boxers" was the reply can I see them, the man went down to the shed she heard the most dreadfull screams, he took a dirty washing basket and returned with it full of puppies. Were is the Rottie he went down to the shed and brought up the Rottie it ran to the water running out of the drain pipe in the yard drinking the washing up water, she said its drinking out the drain "thats o,k," was the reply it had sores all down its legs. He said it was full blooded stock with a white mark down its chest. She asked to see the KC papers he said the breeder would not give them to him. He would down load them of the net. The grass in the back small garden had no hint of any dogs the childrens toys were there. He asked her if she wanted him she said I will think about it. There was NO water bowls in site. She came home and had not stopped crying since she wants to report him but! he has her number. Who do you think has the real power to really do anythink about it! He told her if you come to fetch the Rottie you must come in the dark.

OMG how awful!
Whether he had my number or not I would still report him. And I would make them listen and accompany them to the awful place too! Surely the RSPCA could do something? No water? No food bowls? No free use of the garden?
Very sad :(

I am surprised that you are asking for advice. Your friend has to get the RSPCA involved. Phone numbers can be changed easily enough. Clearly the whole experience has upset her a great deal so for peace of mind she surely has to do whatever it takes to get these dogs and puppies out of this environment. The RSPCA are the people to do this. I would not be able to live with the guilt if it was me and I chose to do nothing. Please get her to call the RSPCA.

You can phone the RSPCA anonymously, so the people would have no idea who'd reported them.

If she doesn't report them she's condoning the treatment, which makes her guilty too.

If the guy has a advert in the paper and seems quite happy to show of his dogs then Im sure your friend is not the only person who has been to see him.  Anyone could report him so that shouldnt put her of. She could always say she is a neighbour rather than been out to see him if she is really worried.

I think though she has no option but to report him.

THAT IS TERRIBLE! :(
Send the details over here and I will ring them NOW!!!
That scum cant be allowed to get away with treating dogs like puppy machines and letting them live in conditions that are beyond cruel.

PLEASE PM ME THE DETAILS AND I WILL CALL THEM MYSELF, ALL I NEED IS THE ADDRESS AND BLOKES NAME IF YOU HAVE IT.

Report him.  If no one does report him 1) they are saying they are ok with this behaviour 2) they are letting it continue.

The dogs need medical attention, and they need to get off that property ASAP.  Report it, and worry about the guy having the phone number later.  If they guy does call, then report that too!

Any Update on this situation?

Hi shearpawfection.
I had not got the address ect; that is why I hadn't refered them. But!! last night spoke to my friend after she had closed her shop. A good friend of hers a vets nurse, had taken the details of the advert in the "bargain pages" paper, address and was going to get the matter sorted, Through the Environmental  health who she said also calls the RSPCA. As except for a chewed up door there was NO sign of any dogs.
Now my friend is worring that they may all have to be put to sleep. I have tried to convince her it has to be done for the puppies sake. when I have any more updates I'll let you all know.
We need to some how teach people what to look for when buying a puppy or dogs also what to ask. But! some adverts and people are pretty convincing.
Just like some purchases.
