You could burn them onto a disc.

Hi,
Yes have thought of this myself.
It is possible to print them off email account. :-)
I also have them backed up in an address book, takes time, but at least they are safe. :-)

Leave the messages on your server. You can choose to leave all your messages on your email provider's server and only delete them from the server when you delete them from Outlook. If you loose your hard drive all you need is the mailbox settings (username, password etc). They'll all come up as new messages but you can select them all and mark them as read.

ETA you can back up your addresses as an archive file or export them as a text file. That can be saved on your back-up drive (because we all have one of those right ;-)) and imported to rebuild your contacts list.

Hi again
I am now trying to save e mails and addresses but struggling. I cannot find a save option or address book only import/export.
I have bought some CDs but also a data stick. Would appreciate advice please.

I'm no expert but I think if you click on export, it then gives you the options of address book or messages and, if I remember correctly, it then lets you save to a format that can be backed up on CD.
