Went to the above place at the weekend, situated in rural Derbyshire. It's like a seaside resort inland - fish & chip shops, gift shops, arcades, Ice cream stands etc (only thing missing is the sea) couldn't get over how dog friendly the place was, most shops had signs saying dogs welcome.

Saw a massive array of dogs - a couple of cracking Bullies, which is always nice.

Well worth a visit for the day.

Apologies if i'm telling you what you already know, but we live local ish and i'd never heard of the place!

Never been during the day but years ago, my parents, brother and I used to go there to see the lights, it was like boats on the water that were all lit up.  I used to love going each year.  Will have to try and make a trip down there now maybe for a long weekend, sounds great!

The Peak District in general is very dog friendly Matlock Bath & Bakewell especially! It has a really nice walk along the river too with an area for the dogs to swim in.  They can also go on the Heights of Abraham Cablecars free of charge too!  It's a great place!
