Does anybody known of any dog friendly, reasonably priced accommodation near the show ground for SKC? I don't mind being roughly 1 hour 30 mins - 2hours away
Some travelodges are showing £120 per night & I need 2 nights, 22nd & 23rd august.
Any suggestions greatly received :)

We stopped over at a Travelodge in Motherwell its was only 25mins away we couldnt find anywhere else near by we booked our room (the last room) 4 months before the show.We are stopping over when we do the Paignton show for 2 nights thats come to £156 :O

We are staying at the metro inn falkirk. Its £29 and dogs are £1. Very basic = sink and tv but no ensuite. Toilets are clean and room serves its purpose.HTH

The Kinross (M90) travelodge is currently showing £70 per night and Dunfermline £75

Kinross is about 25 miles north and a straight drive in on the motorway & over the bridge
Dunfermline is closer (about 18 miles north) but again a straight drive in from here on motorway

Is there a shower facility, ie shared?

I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn about £60 per night I think, en suite, bath/shower, basic but clean, good location, 8 or so miles from venue. If you book online you get a discount.

They have self cleaning showers and toilet facilities. I have stayed with them lots of times and never had a problem getting in facilities and alwyas been cleane when we were there.

HI if you have not booked yet. The Crowwood House in Chryston Glasgow is very reasonable and accepts dogs. I know people who stayed there for our club show and they are planning to stay there again for SKC.
