Hi  my partner has a 13 year old yorkie she is lovely happy and gets on with my three wheatens fine, my query/worry is that she has a lot of warts on her is there anything I should do the vet says 'just warts leave em'  I counted them the other day 15 warts she seems to be getting more as she gets older.  Can anyone help with advice please

I think this is a common thing with older dogs Maya.  I don't think the vets like to put them through surgery to remove the warts and in fact, I believe they can just grow back again anyway so they are probably best just left alone.

Thanks for that I do not think at her age I would put her through anaesthetics I was hoping someone would say get some wart treatment like bazuka  but if its not going to hurt her I will take your advice, she seems to be scratching her back on the carpet a bit more lately thats why I asked
