My first great nephew arrived last night, i have 4 great niceces already aged 4, 2,1 & 7 months. Now we have a boy!! my niece has been in and out of hospital with partial starts so he is very welcome 6lbs 1 oz and a wee bit early.
Been buying already its 100 years of Beatrix Potter so I have a Peter Rabbit and a special gold Peter Rabbit Book book, plus the obligatory little outfit. When I get Jake back from the vet I'll pop in for a cuddle, I love babies. I bought Katie up from 2 and half so its like my first grandson but without the nannie bit, Im just Auntie Viv. (or Biv cause they have trouble with "V"'s).

She has just brought him in for a cuddle, he was only 12.5 hours old. When I had babies you had to stay in bed 24 hours but Katie is up and at them already. He was lovely but huge feet!!! She has babies like shelling peas!!

LOL  Sounds a bit like me....I absolutely loved the giving birth bit ( did it 3 times ) last one just popped out!, but not too keen on the being pregnant bit :-D

This is her third at 25! Aniesha will be 5 in Nov, Ambur 2 next week and ???? possibly Ruben last night. I had 10lb 9 oz  first son - definately no pea!! and 8lb 8oz second prem so I knew when I was beaten and stuck at two....

I'd had all 3 by ''whispers'' 22 and none are showing any intention of making me a gran gran yet :-D but theres plenty of time they are 26,23 and 21. My heaviest was Rebecca at 8lbs ( no2), Martina ( no1) and Danielle were  6lbs 12 ish. LOL I would have needed a caesar to shell a 10 pounder- full term I was only 8 stone!!!

I love babies too, my friends and family know I'll have their babes anytime, they just have to prise them out of my hands on collection. :-D

I just sit there holding them they smell lovely all powder and milky!! AHHHH My OH's daughter had a 11lb 2oz!! girl last night so he has 4 grand daughters!!! So my 10lb+ has been beaten.

Its also so good to say bye bye as well and have a peaceful night two old farts together!! I feel very blessed that I am trusted with babies as I had Aniesha at 4 days as Katie had an overnight in hospital that was fun as she was about 5lb 8 oz at the time, I think I slept with 1 eye open and both ears all night!! Almost half the size of Benjamin.
