Topic Dog Boards / Health / Innocent lumps or worse

Noticed yesterday our 7 year old girl has 2 pea sized lumps under skin near her lower 2 teats. the best way to discribe would be like ganglons(sp?) that we can get. They do seem to be near her ceaser scar from 3 years ago and moveable but not on her actual teat/area. She had a phamtom season 4 weeks ago and Vet said we needed to wait a while before getting her spayed.
She is booked for vets Monday but wondered if anyone has had any experiance in this.

Think these should be pointed out to the vet on Monday, they may be from the ceaser or they may need to be removed for a biopsy.

Update is after having biopsy last week the results today are the lumps contain changing cells, because i found and acted quick they cannot tell what/if cancer has developed so the lumps and tissue are being removed and tested (inc 1 nipple). As we have a litter of pups at home (her grandchildren) vet has advised we wait till Monday (pups going to new homes from Friday) so the house will be quieter and i can spend time careing for her. We've decided while she's under to get her spayed aswell to save another general in a few months...............bless she gonna have a tummy tuck and boob job

Good news that you've picked it up quickly. Hope the op goes well. :-)

Well done, it is a worry but because you were quick she should make a full recovery.
