Hello guys,
My mums bitch has been in season for 10 days and got bred today, but my question is'nt about her its about my Girl, she is due her heat mid August which is 6 months after her last, she come in at 7 months, but i have read on the internet that a bitch in heat wil bring another in, im not planning on breeding my bitch this heat as i like to wait untill the third heat, and i have not managed to find the right stud that compliments her just yet, So should i be worrying about her now, or will she just come in around her due time, and im just being a worry wart?
We do not have a male in the house, but i do walk her in a very dog busy park, off the lead.
Id love some advise, Thanks a bunch

Sometimes an in-season bitch will bring another in, but it's by no means guaranteed - mine never did! But whether or not she does come in, what's the problem? You say you're not planning to mate her this season (quite right too, she's far too young), so it'll make no difference when it is, surely? Whenever she comes in (and it could well be 5, 6, 7 or even more months after her last season) you'll have to stop exercising her in the dog park completely for 3 or 4 weeks, and not offlead anywhere quiet either.
Yes it is true that bitches living together especially with an entire male can have seasons within weeks of each other, I've known that to happen quite a lot. Your mothers bitch having pups may have the same effect on her as an Alpha sending a signal to her body to coincide her season dates too, so it is likely that she may change her dates after pups have been born to coincide with your mum's dog.
However that is only if you live with her, if you don't then 'pack' reactions won't be the same, so it would be unlikely that your mum's bitch will affect yours at all.
And to be honest even in packs living together it is never guaranteed. If you live with your mum there is a possiblilty it could happen though.

yes bitches can and do bring each other in, mine do the only problem with that is that they can keep each other in season so its not good if you have bred one of them
mine always bought each other in within days
my two girls always come into season together also

As Jan says, you really shouldn't be walking her offlead anyway right now..............
Why worry about when she comes in next? My girls so far have had separate seasons, one goes 7-8 months apart, the other seems to be going 9 months in between :-)

This is the first time my girls have actively brought each other in. I had one come in the start of June (normal time), the next the end of June (a bit early) and now the third is in (2 months early). They are all at least 6 months from their last seasons but they broke their normal patterns. It isn't a big deal however, just part of their goal to drive us insane.
