Another Martina Cole fan here - took two of her novels on holiday !!

Crime books : Tess Geritsen is really good, PJ Tracey is another great one reading one at the moment and its really gripping.  Loved Kite runner, got my other half Thousand Splendid Suns for his birthday and desperately waiting for him to read it so I can !!

Gosh!! Katypoo is it really that bad! Read some reviews on Amazon for Double Fault & they gave it some pretty damning reviews too! Reviews for this one look better though! I'll review it when I get back from hols...2 weeks today! Yiiippppeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Is that Kite Runner you've ordered Whistler?  If it is, you'll absolutely love it, it's such a great story!  I don't know anyone who has read this & didn't enjoy it! Enjoy!! Let us know what you thought of it!

Some autobiographies can be quite light reading.
I've read the Dog in the Night book and enjoyed it, as well at 19 minutes by Jodi Picoult.
My sister was reading some book about Chocolate Lovers and was laughing out loud the whole way through it.

Yes its Kite runner I am always open to ideas and I need a thought provoking book rather than a foo foo one.

I read Post Birthday world at Easter, it was a good story actually - bit like the premise of the 'sliding doors' film if youve ever seen it, what happens if you make a different decision, follows the two paths. It isn't 'Kevin' but it is worth a read IMHO.

Kathy Fforde is good if you want light reading also 'The Dark is Rising' series by Susan Cooper...its for older children and young adults but is a brilliant read. Jennifer Crusie is also brilliant and really funny, she to has done a whole series and you don't need to read them in any particular order.
