I would like to introduce myself before starting to post on this board. My name is Afshan, and I reside in Turkey. I am a breeder of Akbash Dogs, Kangal Dogs, and Anatolian Shepherd Dogs. I have a dairy farm, and I started out using the dogs to protect my goats. I eventually fell in love with the breeds, and became a breeder. I do show in the TKC (Turkish Kennel Club) and hope that one day I can show with the FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale). As of now, my breeds are not accepted by the FCI. I love flock guarding dogs, and came to this board in hopes that I can discuss dogs with other hobbyists.

Sorry Ive asked but we have had a lot of wind ups on here recently and this is your 3rd username.The person doing the windups was also from the States and used a second user name....so you can see why im curious.

Might be totally wrong but I believe Anatolian Shepherd dog is a FCI regognised breed already and has been for a little while...

I've already replied to this poster (with 3 signatures) in the thread 'toilet training puppies' and still await a reply. :-) He/she is certainly very smart.

I believe the 'one that resides under a bridge' has changed clothing and resorted to copy and pasting internet articles in response to posts.

Although i do have to credit them on their use of Wikipedia to create a story. Shame the article was out of date tho. (FCI Registrations)

also for this person to come from turkey their english writing is excellent or do they speak english in turkey or do they have a word translate thingy?!?!?!?!

and i also thought that the two first breed mentioned were made up but it seems ive been proven wrong i looked them up on ask and they do exist and are native to turkey, so i guess its true when they say that you learn something new every day :)
