one of our little boys not only has the runs like the rest of them, but he has had a tiny little speck of blood, this is the second time in 2 days that we have noticed this, weve been to vets about the honey situation and they gave us somethin to dry them up, magically its started to work could this be something to do with the runs

has anyone had this problem before

If they've had the runs for a while then yeah it could just be due to this and irritation of the skin etc.  Hope he's soon OK>

One of my boys had this last week (he was 5 weeks) he had the runs and after he finished the last squeze was a jelly like with a tinge of blood. I was advised the give slippery elm bark from health shop in his feed which i did and within 2 days all clear and back to normal poo's. (I opened capsules and put powder on a bit of food and fed pups with it individualy so i knew they all got some) Was told it can happen when they become more dependable on solid foods and tums have to get use to digesting bigger portions etc.

Also try pure pumpkin, it works very well for the runs.   (both on dogs and humans)
Make sure, though that it doesnt have any spices in it, just pure pumpkin.  The spices used in the pumpkin pie filling could make it worse.
