Have just booked a Laser Quest birthday party for my 10 year old son.  Has anyone been on one or had one?  He is very excited but I am not sure whether I have done the right thing.

Thanks

I went on one for my work leaving do.  A group of us went and it was AMAZING!!!!! :D  I really did enjoy it.  I can't see what harm it will cause.  I'm sure he and his friends will enjoy themselves.  It's quite difficult to be looking all around finding someone and keeping away from others!  It's also annoying when you get shot and de-activated for 10 seconds then as soon as your back up someone shoots you again! :D

Thanks Ice Queen.  Didn't think it would cause any harm but wasn't sure whether he would enjoy it.  Sounds as if he will though.  He is really excited about it lol

Hi,
I took my daughter four years ago, then aged 10 to Laser Quest in Chester.
They loved it.
Had great fun. :-)

I will still go now at 20 and trying to get my boyfriend to do it for his 23rd birthday!

I went with people much older than myself! We all loved it! :)  I don't think you can be too old for it, just too grumpy or not interested in shooting people with lasers! :)

It's not too physically demanding either as you can't run, climb, crawel etc

You've done the right thing, fantastic fun, my boys loved it and still do and occassionally will make me join in, **shhhh.... I love it too!** you know parents have to pretend they enjoy it too. I might give it away with my squealing when shot though. :-D

I highly recommend Laser Tag too, it is outdoors sometimes in the same places as Paint ball games. Difference is you don't get hurt like with paint balling, or pain ball, I've never been bruised so much in my life when I tried that. :-D

Its brilliant, we went for a works night out and it was hillarious.  You get really carried away.   My daughter went with 5 friends recently for her 17 birthday (her choice!!) and they loved it so much they went back in for another game.
