my male dane is 11 months old,and is becoming very aroused,sometimes messing the floor,is this normal,will having him neutered make any difference,or would this be a bit drastic,we have children in the house and find it very embarrasing,is there a possibility he will grow out of it

Yes he should grow out of it, if you don't want to use him at stud then discourage it in the same way go would any other unwanted behaviour. If you need help the vet can give him a injection that will last for a couple of months. But the behaviour is normal and it will pass. Jackie
