Did anyone see the whelping box that was for sale at Leeds Champ Show maybe 2 or 3 years ago? They weren't there last year.
It was a moulded shape with smooth rounded corners.
I would like to contact the company that was selling them, but don't know the name of the company.

How high was it and do you have any idea on the colour?
I think I know the ones you mean - a bit like the plastic dog bed but in a whelping box shape. Wish I knew where they got them from too as they look vey easy to clean.

Sharonm, they look really good! Do they come with pig rails? Are they plastic? (They look it) We made ours an dit cost a lot more than £90, so they are very good value.

You can have the pig rails with them, they are made out of the white upvc material and can be taken apart for storage.
I have a linkabord whelping box and it is fantastic. I used it for a litter of nine lab pups this year and it kept them safe and secure until 5 weeks of age, which is a first as they usually start clambering out before that and I have to put a puppy pen round as well. Plus they are so easy to keep clean.

I am currently using, for the first time, the 1.4m Linkabord one after having homemade wooden ones before. I love it and there is no risk of the pups getting out as yet. It is easy to keep clean and is very warm to the touch.

The linkabord boxes, on the site it looks like they have no bottom to them, or is it just green bedding matching the green carpet in their piccy?
I usually use the disposable cardboard ones but as Im probably going to have two litters this year insted of the usual one, I was figuring it would make sense to get a wipe clean one.
I love the look of the snowsilk ones but at the moment my budget wont stretch that far! I dont want to dip into the 'contingency fund' if I can help it.

You can buy the link a bord ones with or without the floor and pigrails, I have both with mine and its great.

I have ther one with floor and pig rails.

Thanks!
Definately going to invest! As handy as it is to throw the cardboard ones out the bloodstains really bug me (especially around the entrance way), and the way the cardboard 'peels' when you try and clean it down throughout the day. Not good!
Cheers everyone :-D

I bought a made to measure one off ebay and it has been brill, used for 2 litters and got plenty of life left in it, £40 delivered. (small breed).

Thanks, everyone, for your replies, but none of the ones mentioned above are what I want.
The ones on sale at Leeds Champ show were more of a moulded shape, with rounded corners & no sharp edges, but definitely rectangular (not oval like a plastic dog bed). They were very sturdy, all in one piece, made of plastic or something similar & came in different sizes.
Thanks, Satincollie, but no. Similar, but the corners were more rounded. Overhill are usually at most shows, but the company I'm looking for was only at Leeds for 2 or 3 years. Their whelping boxes were not quite so expensive, either.
