Is there a website/supplier that I could use to order in bulk?
I'm not a breeder just trying to watch the pennies. :-)

We use Berriewoods, can't do link, but google it.
Don't know if they deliver to Channel Islands though.
best to ring up your food manufacturer and see what bulk discounts they offer. I buy a ton at a time (65 bags) and it brings the price down to less than half retail.
Where on Earth do you store that amount of food??!! :-)

Thinking the same thing :)....and wondering how long it lasts :) :)
Hi Freds mum, I have an unused kennel that takes the bags stacked 5 across and built up. A friend takes 20 bags and I use approx a bag and a half a week, thankfully they all have long shelf dates on them. It works out the most economical for us to do it that way with 10 dogs to feed. If you could get a few friends together to split a pallet (some do a ton that is 65 bags others do a 50 bag pallet) you can make really big savings going directly to the manufacturer.

We make huge savings by buying just 4 bags at a time direct from eukanuba. :) Being a member of the breeders club although we don't breed!
What brand do you use Angels2?
That sounds a marvellous plan Floradora. Do you not get problems with the damp in an outside kennel though?

We use Wafcol at the moment :-)

If you register with Wafcol as a breeder you get a card that entitles you to one bag free for every 3 bar codes .
You initially have to buy 3 bags to get the first 3 bar codes but once you then get your free bag you then only need 2 everytime. My freinds feeds it and it seems quite a good deal.

Oh I wish we knew about that! We feed one of our dogs Wafcol and up till now mum and Dad have done ok with 20% discount at PAH due to me being a staff member. Now that privledge has gone I might get them to become a breeder member! Do you have to buy direct from them or anywhere? I'm assuming as it's barcodes you can get them from anywhere?

Do I have to prove that I am a breeder?

Agels, ou don't neeed to prove, just go onto the website and print off the form. You just have to state how many litters you breed a year, I suppose you could lie and put 1, or just put occasionally!

No Not at all. Catherine is the lady who runs the breeder scheme for Wafcol I believe.

Yes, Petplanet has been cheapest for wafcol for a long time generally 25-30% cheaper. They also will take your card.
Once you buy your inital 3 bags I think 3 bags for 2 is realitively a good deal. The Salmon and potato seems to agree with most breeds to.
Hi Freds mum,
No touch wood we don't the kennel is double lined and insulated, it has rubber matting on the floor and we put a pallet down to stack them on
