Topic Dog Boards / Health / conkers!!!

sorry to be doing so much posting as a new member, it must seem as though my dogs are falling apart! :( I wondered if conkers and their cases are poisonous and if any of my lot pick them up or scoff them they can do any harm. i have tried a search via the web, but can't seem to get anything up on whether they are toxic, just items about playing the game  . so far none of my dogs have actually eaten any, but as there are so many falling on the ground at the moment, and my two little (Human) boys are absolutely obssessed with being conker king, I just wanted to be sure. thanks julie :)

I have just done a quick search and found this:

"Horse chestnut
Aesculus hippocastanum ' Harmful if eaten in quantity"
