I HAVE JUST WELCOMED A TWO YEAR OLD LABRADOR INTO MY HOME, WITH MUCH JOY I MAY ADD. HOWEVER HE NEEDS FURTHER TRAINING AS HIS PREVIOUS OWNERS HAVE OINLY DONE SO MUCH WITH HIM. I WOULD LIKE TO JOIN A CLUB BUT DO NOT KNOW IF THERE IS ONE IN MY AREA (SOUTH EAST LONDON), AND SO I WOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR ANY INFORMATION AS TO MY NEAREST CLUB.
MANY THANKS
T ROSS

hi
what part of SE London?
I lived there 7 years ago, so unfortunately don't know of any clubs now. but I know of two - Association of Pet Dog Trainers that run classes in SE London, depending on what part on you are in! There's one in SE27 and one in SE17. You can search the APDT site for members in London and pick one nearest to you, if these are no good, Also a good way is to contact your local vets, as clubs sometimes either advertise on the notice boards or leave their details with the surgery, pet shops also usually carry ads on their boards too. If you find any I would go along first to watch to see how they train, APDT only use kind methods of training, but as I have found out personally not all clubs do :( if you feel the way they train the dogs, and people:) suit you then join up :) if you need the contact details for the two trainers , post it on the board with you email address or email me and I'll send them. there's one in Dartford and one in sydenham as well. don't know what any of them are like, let me know if you want the details.
good luck julie:)
