Out 'n' about today practising with my camera.  I took some flower shots but I have no idea what type of flowers/herbs/weeds they are, anyone able to identify, please?

It would help to see the leaf, and have an idea of scale, but the second pic looks very much like the wild pelargonium (cranesbill) which is blue. It gets its name from the seed case which is long and thin and looks like a crane's bill.

I know what the first one is but can't for the life of me bring the name to the front of my brain ... they're excellent pics anyway. What sort of camera were you using?

The leaf of the second one looked like a finer cut version of the blue geranium I have in my garden, hence my query.

Kodak P880, I'm still practising & today was a nice bright day not too much glare from the sun.

go onto www.yophotographer.com and post your photo's on there I'm sure someone will know what they are.  Great photography site and the people on there don't put down non-professionals.

First one looks like orange hawkweed Hieracium brunneocroceum in my wildflower book :)

I belong to Aminus which is for amateurs and a worldwide community daily photo blog, I've put them on there - so we'll see!

What a dreadful name for something such a stunning colour.  Theer are loads of Hawkweeds but I found out this one is called Orange Hawkweed (Pilosella aurantiaca).

Any suggestions for the white flowers?
