For that split second, when he comes bounding towards them, I thought "Oh my God!"
Really lovely!

Oh my goodness, put a lump in my throat and my eyes are not dry!
Bless, who would have known a lion would remember after all those years xx

That's just wonderful! Major lump in throat!!

Not a dry eye, Aah that's really lovely.................:)

Gemini 05, Does your bernese hug you like that and rub her head against you? Mine does, change the colours and shrink it a bit and that could have been bramble :-D Always thought there was a bit of lion in her :-D :-D
Glad you liked it to :) It reminds me of my gorgeous big RR male, Bani, who behaves like that if I've been away for a day :) :)

Dakkobear, oh yes, my boy does this!! He like bear hugs you its so funny his front paws hold over each other behind my back and his head is nearly above mine!!
He also loves doing this to my 8 year old son! I keep telling my son not to encourage him up incase he get hurt or even squashed! but he loves the hugs he gets from his boy!
Oh dear proves how much the experts know. love is love and Im all wet eyed again......

tears are falling how wonderful to see.
We're all so soft my eyes filled up too. :-D
It is the look of pure joy on his old owners faces, what a lovely video, they must have walked away beaming, makes you wonder though for the lion to be so happy to see them, whether he had been missing them all the time and felt abandoned.
I hope that they continue to visit him.

Aw I cried.
my ex bought me my GSd and we split within a year. He did nothing for her but she obviously bonded with him. He Had a motorbike and now 7 1/2 years later she goes mad if she sees a motorbike or even a bloke in leathers. I hurt for her a lot more than I do for myself!

That's true love alright...nothing more needs to be said.

Ok thats me in a right mess now. Its almost two years since I lost my darling GSD and I am feeling pretty emotional about the aniversary. He always greeted me like that even if i had only been out for the day

Sweet! Did a bit of searching and found a bit more info.
here. They bought him from Harrods apparently! I think the bit about them being told he wouldn't remember them must have been put in for the tearjerker factor as it doesn't mention anything about that :-P.

That made me cry, in fact I was sobbing
Linda
