There is a particularly nasty outbreak of Parvo reported in the Oxfordshire area. Dogs have died already, mainly those that are Farm kept.

That is scary.

I am being controversial today (sorry). Do the homeopathic nosodes prevent parvo?

Do you know which part of Oxfordshire?
I.E. South etc.
I know mine are vaccinated but it does make one worry
all the same.
Thanks

Hi, although I dont usually boost my dogs vaccs, if I knew of an outbreak in my area, I would have them all done - like yesterday!

Hi Kirstine, The outbreaks have been in Kidlington, Chipping Norton, Witney and Banbury. As far as I know two dogs have died.
Apparently it was advertised in the Banbury Guardian last week to warn people. I heard about it from friends who organise Shoots as they have had to booster their gundogs with the Parvo only vaccine whether their are up to date or not.

Thanks Jan for letting me know much appreciated!

I live between Chipping Norton and Witney and I was dithering about whether to give Thistle her 1st booster. Needless to say when I heard about this I was down to the vet's PDQ.
