Hi, just a quick question my girl is on day 57 from 1st mating, when scanned at vets they said she wasnt pregnant, we took her back when she was 6 weeks pregnant as i new she was, and surprise surpirse yes she was pregnant!! The vet said they must of been hiding, My question is She is huge and we think we have heard 7/8 pups, this is her 2nd litter and just wantd to know if they tend to go early if they had a litter before. As looking at her she looks fit to pop

hi weve only had one litter and we had ten she was huge and came at 61days, i dont think it makes a difference how many litters they have had, its each to there own, all dogs are different, this is only from what i have read myself so dont quote me too much, its the fact of she'l come when shes ready,
sami
Feel very sorry for her, she is so so big, it looks as though someone has just stiched 2 footballs one to either side of her!!! and her teats are nearly on the floor bless her.

rrrr bless, i know when nala was nearly due she was huge, we were told there was about 6 and she gave birth to ten, you will know when shes ready, they make such a fuss dont they, like i say this is our first and i did say our last however now iv got over the shock, im getting used to the idea about having another litter,
No what you mean, i said never again, didnt no she was in season, as she didnt bleed or swell that much than my dog got her bless, but theu are inseperable the pair of them!!
I think she having quiet a few, she is getting very unsettled dont think she very comfy which ever or whatever way she lies. She keep lookingg at me as if to say oh no mummy not again.

i know that scene too, im just pleased the (FATNESS) is over, i have another prob now, she has an extra boob that the puppys made themselves, although thats what i think it is, just when i thought the hard part was all over, lol
Is that just where they suckling on bless em, misty has 2 double nipples and she started losing little milk today,so dont think it gonna be long, but then again you never no? Dont know if you can ask on her but "what type of doggy do you have.
Soz just noticed pic, are they staffie
hi good luck with your whelping this was my first litter and i have loved every minuet of it and by the way my bitch also called Nala has double nipples on the back two teats is this normal and she does have milk in them the pups are sill fighting over the back teats at four weeks.
good luck

even though theyre nipples do they actually look like them because these dont look like nipples just like big spots but they seem content enough whilst on thm

sorry rachel im using your post here, lol even though i have my own, (GREEDY GIRL) eh lol

yes my pic is my boy, nala never holds still for close captions lol

really, did you get your name from the same place as me?(LION KING) i also have a simba, thats him right there in the picture,
No you carry on, its nice to have a chat LOL. As long as the pups are contented there no harm in sucking!!!Hope all your pups and mum is well, how the dad coping,my boy is missing misty so much, she wont let him anywhere near the back room, she playful when in living room but as soon as he goes near the back then he's had it!!
no these teats dont look normal the look more like walts but they do give milk
Nala was already named that when i got her

well long story, my boy aint the father, hes there big step bro. there is no interbreeding here though, i used simbas dad as stud as he is a CH staff, and am hoping to show a girl from the litter, i though it might be a good start

these look like huge spots with a scab type of thing on
Misty has 2 nipples joined 2gether at the back and then between them and the next one is what looks like a non formed nipple very flat but with a little point to it"if that makes sense!!
yeah, it makes sense. I have the dad, plus a new puppy "must be mad" well the pup has been bought for my daughter as she is hoping to take up agility with her, she started training classes last week!!!
Hope all goes well with showing of her

rrr bless, im sure it will and if nothing else it will keep her out of trouble lol, we were going to use simba, thets why we got him from a separate blood line but unfortunately we noticed him deveoping undershot jaw so as raesponsible owners we had him done, hes sooooo lovely but very mischevious as staffs are anyway, he wants to see puppys too close but i wont take any chances yet, i know hel freak when they start chasing him round, lol, lol, lol

dont you think its tiring though, my mum does day shift, and we get nights although they seem to have settled in now and only wake me up if they get stuck somewher or squished,
i have took 4 weeks holidays and my hubby is having 2 weeks and luckly my son is coming home from the army for a few weeks "as this was an unexpected breeding" but yes it is hard work, but so so satisfieing at the end of it, must admit though i am not here when they go to there new homes as it upsets me, and my hubby vets the buyers as he is much more stricter than me " well not neccessary stricter but if he doesnt like the lookof someone then they aint gonna get a puppy!! Mei would keep the lot for myself.

lol well im the wide one here, my partner would sell them to anyone, lol, thats what i will do, take more time off next time,

This girl (sasha) has been panting on and off since sunday, temp has been up and down and a little digging last night but think she may of just been getting her bed comfy lol.
Its harder with her, normally if i breed a litter i know roughly when they due but with her we dont so its just keep a close eye on her.
Do you know how many she is having?
We had her scanned but they said she wasnt pregnant, and we took her back as she was huge, around 2 week ago, and she is pregnant, we didnthave her re-scanned but we think we have heard roughly 8, hard to tell. She panting a bit today and temp going from 99.1 to 100.5 up and down allday. So it is a waiting game. she hasnt eaten mush in the last 24hrs

Aww bless how old are the pups now? how many did she have?

she had ten all togethrt one died 3 days after birth, and they are 1week and 4days, they doing so well, i love them all,
Misty seems so miserable today her temp went up to 101.8 and now gone down to 100.5, she looks miserable, not eating and getting bigger by the day

Wishing you all luck one of my dogs had a silent season took her to vets this week and she is 5 weeks gone with at lest 6 (at least it was another the same breed and been tested).
Hi
Yes thank god, i have the daddy so like you say i now where he has come from. We have heard quite a few debating if to take her the vets today as we not 100% sure when she due and she is so big, debating wheter to take her the vets today to have a check up, she just seems to be getting bigger daily, last time she had a big pup out of the last litter which caused complications, she seems to have a pup right in the middle which has a gr8 heartbeat but doesnt seem to move much so dont no if that a big one?
Hope all goes well with your bitch!!

let us know whats happening and keep in touch
linda
